The Mass “Basic Firearms Safety Course” is recommended to those with previous firearms experience.
This 3.0 hr. course fulfills minimum safety requirements to apply for a Massachusetts Pistol Permit.
Students will learn the following:

• Basic Firearm Safety
• Pistol Components & Identification
• Ammunition Components & Identification
• Massachusetts Firearm Guidelines

Students who complete this course will receive the following:

• Mass State Police “Basic Firearms Safety” certificate
• Mass Firearm Guidelines Packet
